There was a time, not too long ago, when students arrived on campus with all of their possessions packed into a single steamer trunk. At some point, the young folk started bringing their own turntables. And TVs. And then came the portable refrigerators. Today’s students arrive at Davidson with most of the above—plus computing equipment. Lots of computing equipment. Each fall, the Information Technology Services staff surveys the incoming class about what technology they’ve brought to campus. Here’s what they learned about the Class of 2015.
